1. Local-Only Processing Architecture

Unlike traditional online file converters that upload your data to remote servers, unpk.app processes all file decompressions 100% in-browser. We utilize high-performance JavaScript engines (e.g., fflate) and WebAssembly compiled binaries (e.g., WebAssembly-based libarchive) executed locally on your machine.

2. Zero Transmission of File Contents

No file contents, file structures, filenames, metadata, or document data are ever transmitted across the network. None of your files or personal documents are stored on, read by, or shared with our hosting environments, server logs, or third-party networks.

3. Information We Collect

Because we do not use server databases or file processing queues, our data footprint is virtually non-existent:

• No User Files: Your files never cross the network.
• Anonymous Server Logs: Standard request logs generated by cloud CDN servers (like IP addresses and user agents) are recorded for security, DDoS protection, and traffic routing, and contain no user file metadata.
• Payment Information: Any premium billing or contribution details are processed securely and directly by Stripe. We do not store credit card credentials on our servers.

4. Cookies and Local Storage

We may use standard local storage variables to remember UI settings (e.g. selected themes or layout options). We do not run invasive tracking cookies or sell your browsing history.

5. Support and Communications

If you contact us via support@unpk.app, we will only use your email address and communication history to resolve your inquiries. We will never share or sell your contact information.
